This upcoming week we will start talking about Plants. The children are excited to start using our new greenhouse that we received from DonorsChoose. We also have a strange plant collection that we are excited to grow.
The School Carnival is on Saturday, April 2nd. WEE Pats is putting on a wonderful, fun, exciting carnival for all the families of West Elk. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
April 4th there is school. This is a snow make up day.
There is no preschool on Friday, May 6th. This is a preschool screening day. If you have a child that will be 3, 4, or 5 next year and you would like them to come to preschool please call Roberta at the district office or let me so I can send you information about our program.
The weather has been nice some days and not so nice other days. Please keep this in mind when getting your child ready for school. We will go outside everyday if it is above 32 degrees.
Red Plate Days have been coming home and the children are very excited when they get one. I hope you are enjoying this at home and sharing these special moments with your children.
