Welcome to Mrs. Miller's preschool! I am looking forward to working with you and your child during this school year. I worked for 4 years at Severy Elementary and this is my 2nd year at West Elk Elementary. I really enjoy working with the little ones and seeing them learn and explore the world around themselves.
I moved to Kansas with my husband and our little guy, Cody from Buffalo, New York. My son is 5 years old. I am expecting our second child in February.
We have two wonderful paras working with us this year; Mrs. Craig, and Mrs. Lampson.
The first day of school your child will be bringing home so different forms to fill out and send back,the guide to Mrs. Miller's Preschool class and they also will have their communication folder. The communication folder is a very important tool in our classroom. Please check your child's folder everyday; they will be bringing home calendars, newsletters, breakfast/lunch bills, notes, and art work (the most important things). Also if you have anything to send to school please put it in your child's folder. We generally do not check bookbags everyday but we do check folders daily.
Please send with your child:
A bookbag
Extra clothes (make sure they are labeled; we will leave these in your child's bag until we need them)
Please make sure they were weather appropriate clothing (we go outside daily)
