Going on a Monster Hunt

We went on a monster hunt. We used magnify glasses to help us look for clues in the room, outside and in the main building. This activity had us following directions, talking about make believe things, using our sense of sight and hearing, and just plain old having fun. We found clues in the book area, block area, on the teeter tooter, on the glider, on the slide, on the door to the office and then we found mike the monster in Mrs. Hugill's office. We then read a book about monster in a mailbox. It was funny.
