Dear Severy (Mrs. Miller),
I thought you'd be interested in reading this week's schoolNewsletter......especially at the bottom of page 2. Exciting news for PK the Puppy; our school soccer team has been chosento play the 1/2 time break of the 'A League' Soccer match at Melbourne'sDocklands Stadium on Saturday 24th. When I suggested that PK may beable to warm the bench, our sports teacher Mt. Walsh said he may evenmake it onto the pitch! We should remind PK not to play "Quarterback"that evening J! I'm sorry PK can't go to an Australian Rules Footballgame as the season ended last month. As well as soccer, here inAustralia we play Rugby and Aussie Rules. American Gridiron is onlyplayed on an amateur basis (by ex-pat yanks and locals who don't knowany better.....oops, did I say that???). Our game isn't stop/startfootball, much more free flowing on a larger ground. Check www.afl.com.au for more details, the Hawthorn Hawks is my favouriteteam.
Cheers from Werribee on a wet afternoon,
